Two juveniles were arrested following “Smash and Grab” robberies at the AV Mall in Palmdale.

Palmdale, CA.- (LASD) On Wednesday, February 26th, Deputies from the Palmdale PAC team (Partners Against Crime) and LASD OSS (Operation Safe Streets) conducted a 2-location search warrant operation regarding recent “Smash and Grab” robberies from the Antelope Valley Mall.

Two juveniles were taken into custody, and evidence was recovered from their perspective homes. The youths were booked at Palmdale Station and transported to a juvenile detention facility.

The incident’s occurred on February 6th at Kay’s Jewelers and February 21st at Kevin Jewelers. Both resulted in a loss of thousands of dollars in damage and theft.

Your Sheriff’s Department wants the citizens of the Antelope Valley to know, these crimes will always be thoroughly investigated, and perpetrators will be captured and prosecuted.
