Palmdale Offices Closed for Presidents Day

PALMDALE, CA — The City of Palmdale’s administrative and business offices will be closed on Monday, Feb. 17 in observance of Presidents Day. City offices will reopen for regular business hours 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m., on Tuesday, Feb. 18.
During the closure, public works crews will respond to any emergencies that may arise, including sewer overflows, roadway and right-of-way hazards, downed tree limbs, downed signs and potholes or broken sprinkler lines in City parks and landscaped areas. The following City facilities will also close for Presidents Day and resume normal hours and operations on Tuesday, Feb. 18:
Legacy Commons for Active Seniors — boxed lunch pickup services for seniors will not be available this day. Seniors can sign up for the regular lunch program by calling 661/948-2320.
South Antelope Valley Emergency Services (SAVES) — visitwww.CityOfPalmdaleCA.gov/SAVESto locate a food distribution location during the closure.
Palmdale City Library will be closed — Library materials and services, such as Help Now Online Tutoring and cloudLibrary, can be accessed online at www.CityOfPalmdaleCA.gov/Library.
Many City services are available online 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Residents may register for Parks and Recreation programs at www.PlayPalmdale.com, and purchase Palmdale Playhouse show tickets at www.PalmdalePlayhouse.com. Parking and administrative citations may be paid online at www.CityOfPalmdaleCA.gov/Citations. Business licenses may be paid online by visiting www.CityOfPalmdaleCA.gov/BusinessLicense.
The City’s closure does not affect services provided by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department or Los Angeles County Fire Department services.
