Palmdale Celebrates Independence Day with Fireworks Spectacular Event Kicks Off Palmdale Amphitheater’s 20th Anniversary Season

PALMDALE, CA – The City of Palmdale is excited to host its Independence Day celebration on Thursday, July 4. This special event marks the 20th anniversary of the Palmdale Amphitheater and kicks off this year’s summer concert series, featuring exciting performances throughout the season.

 

“This Independence Day celebration marks a special milestone for Palmdale,” said Mayor Austin Bishop. “For 20 years, our Amphitheater has been at the heart of our community’s entertainment. We invite all residents to join us for an evening of great music and fireworks as we celebrate our nation’s freedom and our City’s strong community spirit.”

 

Get ready for an electrifying experience as the festivities kick off with the acclaimed #1 Queen tribute band, Queen Nation, set to take the stage! This celebrated group promises a high-octane tribute to the iconic rock legends, offering a performance brimming with so much passion and charismatic authenticity, audiences will swear it’s the real thing. The highlight of the evening unfolds with an electrifying fireworks show, perfectly synchronized to popular hits, promising an unforgettable experience. Gates open at 6 p.m., the concert starts at 8 p.m., and fireworks begin at approximately 9:30 p.m.

 

“It's amazing to see how our community has grown and come together over the years,” added Mayor Pro Tem Richard J. Loa. “This event is a testament to the resilience and unity of our residents. Let's celebrate this Independence Day with joy and pride in our City.”

 

Located at 2723 Rancho Vista Blvd. in Palmdale, the event is rain or shine. General admission offers festival-style grass seating and attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or low-profile chairs. Children 12 and under are admitted free with a complimentary reserved ticket when accompanied by an adult.

 

Due to forecasted high temperatures, guests are advised to bring handheld umbrellas and factory-sealed water bottles. The event is cash-free, accepting only Visa, MasterCard and Discover. Food vendors will be available on-site and no outside food or beverages are permitted.

Organizers recommend arriving at least one hour before the 8 p.m. start time, as longer wait times are expected for entry and food trucks. On-site parking is very limited. Alternative transportation and rideshare are encouraged, with drop-off/pick-up available at the westbound bus turnout on Rancho Vista Blvd. Additional parking will be available at the Highlands Christian Fellowship church and Highland High School. A shuttle service will be available from these locations for patrons who may need assistance. Please be aware that there will be extended wait times during peak arrival and departure times.
