The City of Palmdale and J.J. Murphy Agree to Amicable Resolution
Palmdale, Ca. - City of Palmdale former city manager, J.J. Murphy, is pleased to announce the resolution of his lawsuit against the City.
In that lawsuit, Mr. Murphy alleged, among other things, that he was terminated for refusing to participate in the illegal activities of former mayor, Steve Hofbauer, and current councilmember, Richard Loa. Moving forward, Mr. Murphy has agreed to assist the City where his insights, experience and knowledge may be helpful.
Mr. Murphy is now employed by Pasco County, Florida. Mr. Murphy wishes the City of Palmdale success, and believes the new city council, under the leadership of Mayor Bettencourt, Mayor Pro Tem Alarcon, and the city manager are well positioned to unleash Palmdale’s potential.
