Fireworks Getting Out Of Control In The Antelope Valley. “War Zone”

Palmdale, CA.- The Fourth of July also known as Independence Day or 4th of July has been a federal holiday in the United States since 1941.

Both Cities Palmdale and Lancaster put together shows for residents to attend and celebrate the 4th with their families.

LA County Firefighters were busy across the Antelope Valley before the 4th of July celebrations, but on Thursday night fires broke out everywhere across the valley..

In Unincorporated areas of LA County Fireworks are prohibited, and anyone who gets caught may faced hefty penalties .

Palmdale has Safe and Sane fireworks, which bear the seal of the California State Fire Marshall, and may only be used in incorporated Palmdale from noon on June 28 through noon on July 5.
