Fatal Traffic Collision In Palmdale


Palmdale, CA. On Monday, May 13, 2024, at approximately 2:08 pm, personnel from Palmdale Sheriff’s Station responded to a single-vehicle collision on Olive Drive, west of 30th Street East, in the City of Palmdale.


The preliminary facts of the investigation indicate at approximately 2:08 pm on May 13, 2024, a 2005 Nissan Altima was driving eastbound on Olive Drive at a high rate of speed. The driver lost control of the vehicle and collided into a tree on the south side of Olive Drive.


The driver of the Nissan Altima was pronounced deceased at the scene. The passenger was transported to Antelope Valley Hospital where they succumbed to their injuries.
