PALMDALE, CA – Palmdale residents are invited to reimagine Neighborhood Watch events this summer as part of the City’s proactive approach to public safety. The first will be held in District 2 on Tuesday, July 9 from 6-8 p.m. at Rancho Vista Park, located at 40437 35th St. West.
Join us for an exciting opportunity to meet Mayor Pro Tem Richard Loa and learn about what the City, first responders and community partners are doing to keep our neighborhoods safe and clean.
“Neighborhood Watch is our way of strengthening the partnership between residents and law enforcement to keep our community safe,” said Mayor Pro Tem Richard Loa. “Public safety is a top priority in Palmdale, and we want to hear how we can better meet your needs. I encourage everyone to join us and take advantage of these resources.”
All the events are free, open to all residents and provide an educational opportunity to learn about the Neighborhood Watch program. Attendees will also learn what City staff, law enforcement and various partners are doing to promote public safety.
Residents are encouraged to come enjoy delicious food for purchase, free snow cones (while supplies last), music, games, and a variety of family-friendly activities. In addition to these activities, this is an opportunity to connect with neighbors and build strong relationships, which can enhance public safety in your neighborhood. It’s going to be a blast for everyone!
This is the first in a series of Neighborhood Watch events that will be held in each district over the coming months. For those interested in learning more about the Neighborhood Watch program, please contact PublicSafety@CityOfPalmdale.org, call 661/267-5170, or visit www.CityOfPalmdaleCA.gov/NeighborhoodWatch
Neighborhood Watch helps build stronger, safer communities one neighborhood at a time. We hope to see you there!
