Lancaster, California. The Los Angeles County sales tax rate will increase on April 1, 2025. This change will result in a higher tax rate on all taxable goods and services throughout Los Angeles County. Measure A passing with 55.8%

Los Angeles County voters approved Measure A, which was passed in November 2024. This measure repeals the existing 0.250 percent tax under Measure H and replaces it with a 0.500 percent tax. Consequently, the overall sales tax will increase from 10.25% to 10.50%.
