2nd Annual Cesar Chavez Day.

Palmdale, Ca.- The Ventura Foundation

hosted a big celebration for Cesar Chavez Day on Saturday, March 25th at Domenic Massari Park in Palmdale.

Attendees had access to resources and information from community organizations.

"This is the 2nd annual event, and we are honored to continue with this celebration. The next events will be better, and with the money we have raised it is giving back to our youth, who entered the contest and wrote essays , our committee chose some local students who will receive cash awards." Said Jorge Ventura founder of the Ventura Foundation

The event had several local and state elected officials who also attended the event.

Please note: LA County offices and non-essential services will be closed on Monday, March 27, in observance of Cesar Chavez Day.
