2025 SPRING SPORTS
Lake Los Angeles – Acton – Sun Village – Pearblossom – Registration is available for all of the depicted Spring Sports being offered at the Los Angeles County Parks in the Antelope Valley.
Here are the 2025 Spring Sports for you to register your kids to play T-Ball/Baseball, Softball and Volleyball. T-ball, baseball and softball are league team sports. Volleyball will be clinics and provided at no charge.
Each flier has a legend on the right-hand side. The blue stars indicate the parks that will have T-ball and baseball leagues. The green stars indicate the parks that will have a softball league. The red stars indicate volleyball clinics that will be held at Jackie Robinson and Stephen Sorensen Parks.
Being in a sports league and attending sports clinics gives each child a chance to socialize with others besides their school companions and make new, mutual friends. These venues give kids a chance to connect with others in a safe and healthy way.
The American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) which was developed primarily because of the Pandemic, provided funding for scholarships which reduced youth sports fees from $140-$190 to a flat fee of $25.00. The result was a boost in youth sports by 29% from 13,273 to 15,829 youth participants across all County parks in 2024. This was a blessing at our park in LLA where our youth participated in great numbers.
Parks and playgrounds are essential hubs of our community life, such as being a civic center for small unincorporated areas such as Lake Los Angeles, families can gather, our young people can play, and residents can relax and relieve the stress of the workday and long commute.
A busy park is a safe park.

The County of Los Angeles Department of Parks and Recreationis excited to announce thatregistration is now open for our 3rd Annual Girls Sports Day!
Girls ages 9-18 are invited to join us for a day filled with sports, fitness, wellness, and fun. Participants will have the opportunity to take part insports clinics led by experienced coaches and hear from inspiring guest speakers who will empower and motivate them. Transportation will be available from select LA County Parks for participants.
