Lancaster LASD Homicide detectives have traced the 9-1-1 call.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding a deputy-involved shooting.

The incident occurred this morning, Thursday, June 11, 2020, at approximately 5:22 a.m. on the 600 block of West Avenue H-12 in Lancaster. At 10:56 pm, the Lacaster Sheriffs station on their officail Facebook account, ahev posted the fallowing information.

Homicide detectives have discovered that the 9-1-1 call was placed by the suspect’s girlfriend.

During the call to 9-1-1, she never speaks to the operator but rather the phone line is left open.

For several minutes arguing and fighting between the caller and the suspect can be heard in the background. Also, in a recorded statement to deputies, the suspect’s girlfriend indicated she was the person who called 9-1-1 and stated she was assaulted by the suspect.
