The Pearblossom Highway Rebuild Project

Most of you either use this road, work with people who do, or know people who do. Over 34,000 vehicles travel it daily, including heavy trucks, and this has, over time, deteriorated the road. During the project, there will be some full closures of Pearblossom Highway which will require motorists to take alternate routes. Would you mind sharing this information with any and all whom would benefit? If you're planning to go to the Antelope Valley Swap Meet on Sundays between now and April, it is still open during the Pearblossom Highway construction, but access from Pearblossom is closed. Access is available from Ft. Tejon Rd./138. Crews will work within Segment 2 and Segment 3 between 33rd St East and 55th St East to shift k-rail. Crews will set traffic control and provide one lane in each direction on the south side of PBH. Work will begin on excavation and removal of existing roadway on the north side.
