Traffic stop in Delano leads to seizure of a firearm and narcotics

A  deputy assigned to the Delano substation conducted a traffic stop on 20-year-old Ricardo Ambriz in the 2000 block of Girard Street. 

During the traffic stop, Ambriz was found in possession of concentrated cannabis. During a search of Ambriz' vehicle, deputies located approximately 106 grams of processed marijuana, approximately 81 grams of cocaine, approximately 33 grams of narcotics pills, approximately 5 grams of suspected ecstasy, $1,534.00, and a loaded revolver. Ambriz was arrested and booked into the Kern County Sheriff’s Office Central Receiving Facility for narcotics sales, transportation of narcotics, marijuana sales, weapons violations, and a vehicle code violation.
