Police identify victim of fatal crash in Rosamond

On July 17, 2019, at approximately 2025 hours, Mr. Carle Bremer, age 70, of Rosamond, was driving a ‪2014 Honda Accord westbound on Rosamond Blvd west‬ of ‪45th Street‬ West at approximately 55 mph. Mr. Eric Sanders, age 45, of Mojave, was riding a modified knee scooter westbound on Rosamond Blvd ahead of Mr. Bremer.

According to witnesses and physical evidence, Mr. Sanders was swerving in and out of the westbound traffic lane, and for reasons still under investigation, Mr. Sanders swerved into the path of Mr. Bremer’s vehicle. Mr. Bremer attempted to swerve left and brake to avoid Mr. Sanders, but was unable to do so. 

The right side of the Honda struck Mr. Sanders. Mr. Bremer immediately stopped, called 9-1-1 and attempted to provide medical aid to Mr. Sanders.
