CHP Maximum Enforcement will continue this weekend.

We are working hard and keeping busy this weekend! 

Along with sending extra officers to patrol the Ridgecrest area and assist as needed we have also assigned extra officers to help greater Kern County have a safe and fun Independence Day weekend.

This Maximum Enforcement Period you will continue to see more officers patrolling SR-14, SR-58, US-395, and the many county roads within Eastern Kern County. Don't drink and drive. Plan ahead and slow down. If you see an impaired driver, call 9-1-1. Have a wonderful Independence Day weekend!
