Get Ready For A Job And Community Resource Fair, Sunday June 23rd, 2019.

A job and community resource fair will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 23, at the Lancaster Jethawks’ stadium, 45116 Valley Central Way, which is south of Avenue I west of the Antelope Valley Freeway. Tickets are free for the first Jethawks Community Job and Resource Fair. Tickets can be obtained in advance at jethawksjobfair2019.eventbrite.com or www.hiringspreela.org; each Job Fair ticket can be traded in at the stadium box office that day for three seats at the Jethawks game at 2:05 p.m. The job fair will include employers like Target, Morton Manufacturing, the Los Angeles County Office of Education, Deluxe Corporation and the Air Force that are hiring, as well as youth resources and opportunities, reentry resources and opportunities, veteran resources and opportunities and homeless resources and opportunities. The job fair is being held on a Sunday because weekday job fairs don’t accommodate people who commute to work outside the Valley but would prefer employment locally. Participants must show the paper Eventbrite ticket at the box office in order to enter the stadium concourse where the job and community resource fair will be located. Everyone who enters must have a Jethawks entrance ticket.
