Community Input Wanted at Connect SoCal Workshop
PALMDALE - The City of Palmdale will host a Connect SoCal Workshop presented by the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) on Tuesday, May 21 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at the Chimbole Cultural Center, located at 38350 Sierra Highway in Palmdale.
The public is encouraged to attend this free workshop and provide input. The workshop will highlight challenges the Southern California region is going to face over the next 25 years and the potential solutions to address them. Topics that will be discussed include anticipated growth in population, transportation, environmental and public health goals, and housing development of the region. “The goal is to build smarter and more connected region, so make sure to provide your input by attending a free workshop,” said Transportation/Strategic Initiatives Manager Mike Behen. “But, we can’t do it alone –we need your input to shape SoCal’s future!” For those unable to attend the workshop, SCAG encourages the public to take their online survey at www.connectsocal.org/survey.
