Kern County Sheriff's Office Serves Search Warrant, Seizes 11,395 Marijuana Plants.

On May 2, 2019, the Kern County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant at five separate locations on Wildwood Road south of Highway 46. As a result, deputies located several large marijuana grows on a 78-acre property.
A total of 11,395 marijuana plants were seized. A further search of the property revealed four firearms, two shotguns and two rifles.

Deputies arrested Jose Luis Naranjo Soto age 36, and Marcelo Flores age 52, at the property for various charges to include conspiracy to maintain a residence to sell narcotics, as well as cultivation of marijuana.
The search warrants were served with the Kern County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team, along with Cal-MMET, HIDTA, KernCATT and Kern County Code Compliance.
