LA COUNTY FIRE DEPARTMENT 22nd ANNUAL FIRE SERVICE DAY

The Los Angeles County Fire Department will hold its 22nd annual Fire Service Day on Saturday May 4, 2019 at Fire Station 129, 42110 6th Street West, between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Firefighters will demonstrate extinguishing fires and how the Jaws of Life, are used to cut vehicles in severe car wrecks. Kids will have the opportunity to put on turnout coats and helmets and spray water hoses. A helicopter, as well as search and rescue gear and other equipment will be on display. Food available includes steak, chili, hamburgers and hot dogs. ADMISION IS FREE
