Create your own designs as fuse beads, lanyards, or friendship bracelets offer endless ideas and patterns. Designed for children, but all ages welcome. Tuesday, May 7, 14, 21, & 28 - Domenic Massari & Marie Kerr Painters Tuesday, 5 to 7 pm. Free paint time for all ages. Patrons will explore art through various projects. See park staff for upcoming planned activities. All ages welcome. Saturday, May 11, 18, & 25 - Domenic Massari & Marie Kerr Scrapping Saturdays, 10 am to 2 pm. Interested in creating a scrapbook page? Park staff will offer basic supplies to create fun shapes and designs. Patrons are encouraged to bring pictures for their pages. Ages 8+. Free. Saturday, May 11- Domenic Massari & Marie Kerr Mother’s Day Celebration- 1 to 3 pm. Let’s dance, craft, and have some fun! Come make a craft for that special someone. The NLS team provides free assistance to individuals and families dealing with Reentry; clear your adult criminal record; fix errors on background reports; if your professional license is denied or revoked; understand your employment rights and new Fair Chance Hirining Laws. Saturday, May 11 Stamp Out Hunger Part 1, Shift One: 3 to 6 pm; Shift Two: 4:30 to 7:30 pm (Volunteer Registration begins at 30 minutes prior to shift). Partner with local letter carriers for the 25th Annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive. Food assists local families in need. Community Partner: United States Postal Service Stamp Out Hunger. The NLS team provides free assistance to individuals and families dealing with fair housing, eviction or homelessness, problems with your landlord, Section 8 issues, rent increases and unsafe living conditions. Students will present a lively and energetic dance performance of classical, ballet, modern, jazz hip hop and rhythm tap choreographed to “Seaside Rendezvous” by Queen, “SOS” by Rihanna and music by Bruno Coulais from the motion picture Song of the Sea.
