Traffic Advisory for Tehachapi

Caltrans will be conducting traffic control for extended road construction on SR-202 between West Valley Blvd and Tehachapi Blvd.

 Construction will begin on Tuesday, April 30th, 2019 and will continue for approximately six weeks.

The construction project will close the #1 lane and median in each direction for the duration of the project. 

For the safety of our workers and travelers, traffic will not be allowed to make any left hand turns in the construction zone.

U-turns will be allowed at Tehachapi Boulevard and West Valley Boulevard. Please plan for delays and avoid the area if possible.

When driving through the construction zones, reduce your speed, observe and obey traffic controls, and watch for personnel and equipment.
