Person arrested for possession of stolen goods and counterfeit bills.

Jose Munoz Baltierrez (20 years old) was arrested for posession of Controlled Substance for Sales, Posses of Stolen Property, Possession of Counterfeit Bills, Obstruct a Public Officer, Felony Warrant, Misdemeanor Warrant according to the press release.  CHARGES: H&S 11378, PC 496(a), PC 472, PC 148(a)(1),  On 04-07-19, Officers were conducting follow on a burglary case in the 100 Blk. of W. Robertson Av. and received information that the stolen property was possibly located at 135 W. Robertson Av. in Ridgecrest Officers responded to 135 W. Robertson Av. and spoke with Jose Munoz Baltierrez, who is on active felony probation with search terms. Baltierrez also had an active felony and misdemeanor warrant.

Officers searched Baltierrez residence and located approximately $1,400 worth of stolen property from the original burglary case. Also located in the search were narcotics, digital scale, individual plastic baggies and counterfeit bills. Baltierrez was taken into custody for his above listed charges and later transported to Kern County Jail in Bakersfield, CA. where he is being held on $130,000 bail.
