Supervisor Barger’s office is helping spread the word about a suicide prevention training class aimed at Antelope Valley people who deal with veterans: anyone from mental health professionals and law enforcement, to family or clergy.

An organization called JVS So Cal, which I’m told has a good reputation, will put on the free class Feb. 19-20 in Palmdale.

The flyer is attached to this email. Please pass it on to anyone you know who is concerned about veteran suicides. Deadline to sign up is Feb. 14
