The double yellow lines have been removed for most of the SR-14 freeway in both directions.

We've received multitudes of questions regarding changes to our HOV lanes lately.

The double yellow lines have been removed for most of the SR-14 freeway, in both directions, as well as the HOV markings on the actual roadway. However, every black and white regulatory sign as seen above, are still in place and therefore this lane is still used as an HOV during the hours indicated.

The removal of the double yellow lines, simply makes it easier for drivers to enter in these lanes at any point in time throughout the day, versus violating the double yellow line law.

So please abide by the law and follow the directions of the posted signs.
