Palmdale City Hall to Close for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday


PALMDALE – City of Palmdale administrative and business offices, South Antelope Valley Emergency Services (SAVES), the Palmdale Playhouse, Legacy Commons for Active Seniors and Palmdale City Library will be closed on Monday, Jan. 21 in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

To report emergencies after hours, weekends or on holidays, residents may call 661/267-5338. Emergencies include sewer overflows, roadway/right of way hazards including downed tree limbs, downed signs and potholes, or broken sprinkler lines in City parks and landscaped areas.

Customers may register for recreation and culture classes 24 hours a day, every day at www.PlayPalmdale.com. Tickets for Palmdale Playhouse shows may be purchased 24 hours a day, every day at www.PalmdalePlayhouse.com. Library materials may be renewed, fines paid, and online services such as Homework Help, and eLibrary may be accessed 24 hours a day, every day at www.cityofpalmdale.org/library.

Parking and administrative citations may also be paid online, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at www.cityofpalmdale.org. Business licenses may be paid online 24 hours a day, seven days a week by visiting https://www.cityofpalmdale.org/webrenewals/.

Administrative and business offices will reopen Tuesday, Jan. 22 at 7:30 am. Legacy Commons will reopen on Tuesday, Jan. 22 at 8 am. SAVES will reopen Tuesday, Jan. 22 at 8:30 am. The Palmdale City Library will reopen on Tuesday, Jan. 22 at 10 am.
