Palmdale City Library to Host Hitchcock Film Festival

PALMDALE – The Palmdale City Library, located at 700 E. Palmdale Blvd., will host a four-day film festival honor of the Master of Suspense, Alfred J. Hitchcock, from Monday, Oct. 22 through Thursday, Oct. 25 at 5:30 pm
The festival is free to attend and will feature four Hitchcock classics including: Rear Window (PG) on Oct. 22; Strangers on a Train (PG) on Oct. 23; Vertigo (PG) on Oct. 24;, and Psycho (R) on Oct. 25. Psycho attendees must be 18 years of age or older or be accompanied by an adult.
“Join us for our very first Hitchcock Film Festival, featuring four of his most iconic movies,” said Youth Service’s Librarian Jamielee Beck. “You’ll be at the edge of your seat.”
This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Palmdale City Library.
The Palmdale City Library is open seven days a week. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 10 am to 8 pm; Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm; and Sunday from 1 to 5 pm.
