Remains found near Littlerock; unclear if they are human


Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau Detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding found remains at the 30900 block of 106th Street in the Un-incorporated area of Littlerock on Thursday, October 11, 2018. Detectives have learned that the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office identified some of the bones to be that of a human. It is undetermined at this time if the human bones are of only one individual. Further identification of the additional remains recovered from the scene will be determined at a later date. It is not known how long the human remains have been at the location. The identification and cause of death will be determined by Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office at a later date. Detectives are currently not seeking any person or suspect/s at this time.
