Immigrants In-The-Know Resource Day Coming to Legacy Commons
PALMDALE -- The Los Angeles County Office of Immigrant Affairs will host a “Immigrants In-The-Know Resource Day” event on Saturday, Sept. 1 from 10 am to 1 pm at Legacy Commons for Active Seniors, 930 East Ave. Q-9 to inform the public about the services the office offers.
During the event, people will be able to talk individually to staffers for help and guidance. Available will be legal consultations, advice on landlord/tenant issues, information on health care services, financial education, support for small business owners, help with minimum wage disputes, and assistance with consumer protection and public safety issues.
Staffers at the event will include people fluent in English, Spanish, Chinese, Armenian and Tagalog.
