Palmdale Mayor James Ledford Announces He Will Seek RE-Election.
Palmdale Mayor James Ledford has announced he will seek another term in the upcoming mayoral election set for November 6, 2018.
Ledford, who has been Palmdale's mayor since1992, made the announcement posted on social media (FaceBook) on Monday night.
The Mayor’s seat is a citywide election for a full term of two years, according to an earlier press release from the City of Palmdale Clerk's office.
James C. Ledford Jr. was elected to his thirteenth term as mayor of the City of Palmdale on November 8, 2016. Ledford also served four years as a City of Palmdale planning commissioner and two years as a councilmember prior to his first election as mayor in 1992.
