City of Palmdale’s annual Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon

Each year the City of Palmdale hosts a volunteer appreciation luncheon to honor those who generously donate their time to various City departments or programs. The luncheon includes an address from the Mayor in addition to thank you pins for each volunteer. Theme: Ordinary People, Extraordinary Efforts.

The City of Palmdale has over 300 volunteers on record. Volunteers devote tens of thousands of hours to different City departments including the Recreation and Culture Department, Palmdale Playhouse, Joe Davies Heritage Airpark at Palmdale Plant 42, Palmdale City Library, South Antelope Valley Emergency Services, Gabriel’s House, Neighborhood Services and Legacy Commons for Active Seniors.
