Neighborhood Watch Orientation Meeting, Palmdale.
PALMDALE – The City of Palmdale’s neighborhood services department, along with deputies from the Palmdale Sheriff’s Station, will host a Neighborhood Watch Orientation presentation on Tuesday, April 5 at 7 pm in the City Council Chamber, located at 38300 Sierra Highway, Suite B.
“If you’re not currently part of a Neighborhood Watch Group, we’d love to meet with you and show you how simple and easy it is to make your neighborhood safer,” said Palmdale Crime Prevention Officer Kery German. “Not only is it the best and easiest way to learn about crime trends, but it also is a means to discuss disaster preparedness, home security and personal safety issues.”
“It is amazing that something that is so easy and takes so little time can have so many benefits” German said. “It’s one of the best ways to meet your neighbors, deter crime in your neighborhood, help prepare for a disaster and more.”
